Private Birthday Party Performance Terms & Conditions

BETWEEN:

  1. Louby Lou Limited (“the Company”)
  2. You (“the Client”)

1. Booking & Event Details

“Booking and event details” refers to information submitted during the booking process which includes:

 

  • Event date
  • Venue address
  • Package selected
  • the Client contact details
  • Birthday child’s name and age
  • Special requests

Once the Client completes a booking and, the booking and event details submitted form part of this agreement.

2. Payment Terms

1 Hour Show

  • Total Fee: £350
  • Initial Payment (50%): A payment of £175 is required upon booking.
  • Final Balance (50%): The remaining balance of £175 is due in full on the day of the event, prior to the start of the performance.

1.5 Hour Show

  • Total Fee: £400
  • Initial Payment (50%): A payment of £200 is required upon booking.
  • Final Balance (50%): The remaining balance of £200 is due in full on the day of the event, prior to the start of the performance.

2 Hour Show

  • Total Fee: £450
  • Initial Payment (50%): A payment of £225 is required upon booking.
  • Final Balance (50%): The remaining balance of £225 is due in full on the day of the event, prior to the start of the performance.

Travel Fees

Venues within 10 miles of Leigh, Greater Manchester

Travel to venues less than 10 miles from Leigh will not incurr a travel fee.

 

Venues between 10 and 20 miles from Leigh, Greater Manchester

Travel to venues between 10 and 20 miles away from Leigh will be charged at £25.

 

Venues between further than 20 miles from Leigh, Greater Manchester

For venues more than 20 miles away from Leigh please get in touch before booking.

 

3. Cancellation 

Client Cancellation: If you cancel the booking 28 days or less before the event date, the 50% initial booking security payment is non-refundable.

4. Force Majeure (Unforeseeable Events)

  • Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party.
  • Such causes include, but are not limited to: Government-mandated lockdowns, pandemics, strikes, fire, flood or sickness of Louby Lou Limited.
  • In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence, Louby Lou Limited will offer the Client the choice of:
    1. A full refund of all monies paid; or
    2. A transfer of all monies paid to a rescheduled date.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client (e.g., venue hire or catering) due to a Force Majeure cancellation.

5. Health, Safety & Safeguarding

Supervision: A minimum of 2 responsible adults must remain in the room at all times to supervise the children.

6. Insurance & Professional Standards

  • Public Liability: Insured up to £10m.
  • DBS: The Performer holds a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

7. Agreement

By paying the initial 50% payment, the Client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined above.

 

The Client acknowledges that by submitting the online booking and accepting these Terms and Conditions it constitutes an electronic agreement and intent to be legally bound.
